St. Patrick’s School Uniform and Dress Code Policy
St. Patrick’s School Uniform, Grooming, and Dress Code Policy must be strictly adhered to each day. Uniforms are expected to be worn complete with regards to all items in the uniform. Deviations from the school uniform/gym uniform or failure to adhere to the NUT pass policy will result in one or more of the following: an infraction being issued and/or the loss of the use of NUT passes for the year.
Kindergarten through 8th Grade students:
- Only St. Patrick’s School or St. Patrick’s Sports sweatshirts may be worn in the classrooms.
- A school shirt and /or gym shirt must be worn at all times, including underneath a school sweatshirt.
- N.U.T passes may not be used on days scheduled for special events or liturgical celebrations.
- Kindergarten to 8th graders can only use NUT passes once a week. Not using a NUT pass one week does not allow two to be used the following week. Failure to comply will result in the loss of the use of NUT passes for the remainder of the year and/or an infraction given.
- Girls may only wear one pair of earrings in their earlobes.
- Boys are not permitted to wear earrings.
- More than one necklace/chain or more than one bracelet per wrist is not permitted.
- Extreme, trendy, or faddish hairstyles including but not limited to shaved or buzzed cuts, two toned hair color, and those involving unnatural color, i.e. purple, green, bright red, or bleached, etc., are not permitted.
- Boys' haircuts may not reach the collar, ear, or eyebrows. No facial hair is permitted.
Uniform Policy for Girls
Nursery and Pre-K
St. Patrick’s School monogram gray t-shirt and green shorts and/or the monogram green sweatshirt and pants.
Kindergarten – 4th Grade
Plaid uniform jumper with white Peter Pan blouse (short or long sleeve)
Blue tie
5th and 6th Grade
Plaid uniform skirt, white button down Oxford shirt, and navy vest
7th and 8th Grade
Plaid uniform skort, white button down Oxford shirt, and green vest. All skirts/skorts must be fingertip length.
Kindergarten - 8th Grade
Navy school V-neck pullover sweater, St. Patrick’s School or Sports sweatshirt, or fleece– No other sweatshirt/jacket may be worn in school.
White or navy crew socks, knee socks, or tights
Uniform Shoes – Black shoes must be purchased from Flynn O’Hara
Uniform Policy for Boys
Kindergarten-4th Grade
Green uniform pants with black belt and white button down oxford shirt
5th –8th Grade
Khaki uniform pants with black belt and white button down oxford shirt
Kindergarten– 6th Grade
Plaid uniform tie
7th & 8th Grade
Green and gold tie
Kindergarten - 8th Grade
Green school cardigan or V-neck pullover sweater, St. Patrick’s School or St. Patrick’s Sports sweatshirt or fleece– No other sweatshirt/jacket may be worn in school.
White, navy, or green socks only
Black shoes – Must be purchased from Flynn O'Hara
Gym Uniform
Kindergarten – 8th Grade
St. Patrick’s School monogram gym shirt and monogram hunter green mesh shorts and sneakers and/or a monogram gym sweatshirt and sweatpants.
5th-8th Grade ONLY
St. Patrick’s School monogram sweat suit with nylon jacket and pants with St. Patrick’s School monogram gym shirt.
All items are to be purchased from Flynn O’Hara
Gym sneakers are protective gear; fashion sneakers are not permitted.
NUT Pass/Dress Down Day Policy
- Shorts, dresses, or skirts must be fingertip length
- No undergarments can be visible. No pajama tops/bottoms may be worn.
- Shirts must be full length, including coverage of the midsection.
- No off-the-shoulder or spaghetti strap tank tops or dresses.
- No jeans with holes or rips may be worn.
- No slippers, and sandals must have a strap around the ankle (no flip-flops or slides).
- No t-shirts with slogans or decals that are contrary to the values of St. Patrick’s School.
